Bi+ people experience biphobia in both heterosexual and queer spaces. This double discrimination leads to prejudices, such as that bi+sexuality is just a phase.

Internalized biphobia makes many bi+ people doubt their own identity, which can affect well-being. Studies show 39% of Bi+ people experience anxiety or depression.
